How to Order

If you are ordering a product, we require the following information:

- quantity

- name of desired item(s)

- article number (if available)

- further information like color, size

- price of each item

- your name

- your address

- your e-mail

- your phone number

- desired payment method (bank transaction, credit card, postal cheque, Swiss post account)

3. We send an order confirmation by e-mail, usually within 24 hours, writing the total cost incl. shipping and insurance, as well as the estimated shipping date.

If you pay by bank transaction or Swiss post account, we will also provide you with our account details.

If you pay by credit card, we'll inform you what times to call us to provide us your credit card details.

4. You confirm the total cost.

If you are paying by bank transaction or post account, you initiate the payment now.

For credit cards, you call us to provide us your credit card details.

5. After receiving your payment (or charging your credit card), we ship the item(s) within 24 hours and inform you by e-mail.

Terms & Conditions

All our goods are sold with the following limitations:

1. We always charge in Swiss Francs (CHF). The exact amount you will pay depends on the exchange rate your bank / credit card issuer is using on the day of transaction, and is not within our control.

2. Small quantity surcharge: If the ordered goods have a total value (excl. shipping costs) of less than CHF 50.-, we add an additional CHF 10.- for administrative costs.

3. Maximum reservation period for ordered goods is 10 days (or as stated by e-mail). If we didn't receive your payment within this period, the goods will be released for sale.

4. No refund or return of goods simply because you change your mind (assuming the product is not defective).

5. No refund or return of goods if the purchased items are not exactly the same as on our web site. For example, the colors may vary slightly from those in the picture. Many of our items are hand-made or are made from natural materials. Therefore slight variations from product to product are normal.

Shipping & Insurance

We shipping all our products "priority" via Swiss Postal Services and insure them against loss or damage.

For an extra charge, shipping by Federal Express is also possible.

The risk for the shipment lies with the customer.

Complaints about damaged goods must be filed IMMEDIATELY upon receiving the goods, otherwise the Postal Service/delivery company may refuse to pay. Therefore, please check the goods immediately upon receipt. If the parcel shows any external damage, ask the delivery staff to wait until you have checked the goods, or file a complaint (keep a copy) before signing for the parcel.

Shipping Times & Prices

The following figures are approximate. The actual times and prices may vary.

To USA. Shipping: 1-2 weeks. Cost: CHF 46 (1kg) up to CHF 300 (10 kg)

To Japan. Shipping: 5-8 days. Cost: CHF 53 (1 kg) up to CHF 350 (10 kg)

Europe. Shipping: 5-10 days. Cost: CHF 38 (1 kg) up to CHF 100 (10 kg)

Within Switzerland: Shipping 1-3 days. Cost: CHF 10 (1-10 kg)

Customs Duties / Taxes

Depending on the country (and the customs officer in charge), you may have to pay customs taxes when receiving the shipment.

Some samples from our experience, customs duties that have been charged (as a percent of the value of the goods):

USA: no tax or low tax (5%)

Japan: no tax or low tax (3%)

EU: taxes of about 20% in most countries.

Contact the customs office of your country for the exact rates.

Warranty

Warranty claims must be made directly to the manufacturer, not to us. We will do our best to help you with any problem you have, and upon request will contact the manufacturer for you.
