Musical Watches "Charles Reuge"

Reuge Musical Pocket Watch

A long tradition

The world leading Music Box maker "Reuge Music" has a long tradition with Musical Pocket Watches.

In 1865, Charles Reuge established his company by opening a musical pocket-watch shop in Sainte-Croix (Switzerland). This speciality is still produced today, and is admired by musicbox and watch lovers around the world.

Each musical watch contains 2 mechanisms: a mechanical watch movement and a tiny 17-note musical movement.

In some cases - for example in the "Fountain" watch below - an alarm is incorporated to start the music at a certain time. With other models, a small pin must be pulled out to start the music.
